On the sidelines of the MWC25 Doha Exhibition, H.E. Eng. Ahmed Abdullah Al Maslamani, Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the State of Qatar, received on 26 November 2025 at the State of Qatar Pavilion H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO). The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of communications and information technology and to support digital transformation efforts in the region.

As part of its 2025 action plan, the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), in collaboration with the IPv6 Forum, organized a workshop for telecommunications sector regulators focusing on the implementation and adoption of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) transition plans. The event took place in conjunction with the Ultra-Broadband Forum (UBBF 2025), held in Paris, France, from October 13 to 15, 2025.

Within the framework of Arab–Chinese cooperation to enhance partnerships and exchange expertise, the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO) and the Chinese authority responsible for the BeiDou satellite navigation system co-organized the 5th Arab–Chinese Forum on Satellite Navigation (BeiDou) on 24–25 September 2025 in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, under the auspices of the League of Arab States and the Arab–Chinese Forum.
