The Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization and the Tunisian-Canadian Business Network signed, on Thursday, May 21, 2026 in Tunis, a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at establishing a joint framework for cooperation in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), including economic, scientific, and cultural dimensions, and strengthening exchange between the Arab region, Tunisia, and Canada.
The Memorandum was signed by H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of AICTO, and Mr. Sofiane Bouziri, President of the Tunisian-Canadian Business Network.
This agreement reflects the shared commitment of both parties to strengthening international cooperation and fostering the exchange of expertise, experiences, and best practices in ICT and innovation-related fields.
This cooperation aims, in particular, to facilitate business relations and enhance collaboration opportunities between members and partners of both organizations; support economic, scientific, and cultural exchanges between the Arab region, Tunisia, and Canada; develop and support joint strategic projects; organize joint events, forums, and initiatives that promote international cooperation; and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and publications related to digital transformation and innovation.
Through this initiative, AICTO reaffirms its commitment to strengthening international partnerships and promoting innovation, digital development, and economic cooperation between the Arab world and its international partners.
