H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), received H.E. Mr. Rami Farouk Al-Qadoumi, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Tunisia, on Friday, 12 June 2026, at the Organization’s headquarters in La Marsa.

The meeting focused on the legislative meetings of AICTO scheduled to take place during the following week.

During the meeting, H.E. the Director General presented the main topics to be discussed during these meetings, in addition to highlighting the Organization’s activities and work programme for the upcoming period.

For his part, H.E. the Ambassador reaffirmed the State of Palestine’s support for the Organization’s activities, commending its pivotal role in strengthening Arab joint action in the field of information and communication technologies and in enhancing regional cooperation in this vital sector.

It is worth noting that the State of Palestine, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, currently holds the presidency of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization for Information and Communication Technologies for the current term (2025–2026), reflecting its active role in supporting Arab cooperation in the telecommunications and information technology sector.
