AI-Forward Summit 2025, Tunis, November 30 – December 2, 2025
The Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), in cooperation and partnership with the Ministry of Communication Technologies of the Republic of Tunisia, organized the “AI-Forward Summit 2025” from 30 November to 3 December 2025 at the Palais des Congrès in Tunis.

On the sidelines of the MWC25 Doha Exhibition, H.E. Eng. Ahmed Abdullah Al Maslamani, Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the State of Qatar, received on 26 November 2025 at the State of Qatar Pavilion H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO). The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of communications and information technology and to support digital transformation efforts in the region.

Chairman of the Libyan General Authority for Communications and Informatics Receives the Director General of the Arab ICT Organization
On Sunday, 16 November 2025, in Tripoli, H.E. Eng. Abdelbasset Al-Baour, Chairman of the General Authority for Communications and Informatics in the State of Libya, received H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab ICT Organization, as part of an official working visit to Libya.
The Arab ICT Organization Participates in the Lisbon Forum 2025 on Artificial Intelligence and Global Governance
A delegation from the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), led by its Director General, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, participated in the Lisbon Forum 2025, organized by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Global Governance: Rights, Representation, and Readiness.”
North Africa Network Infrastructure Roundtable, Paris, 13 – 15 October 2025
As part of its 2025 action plan, the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), in collaboration with the IPv6 Forum, organized a workshop for telecommunications sector regulators focusing on the implementation and adoption of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) transition plans. The event took place in conjunction with the Ultra-Broadband Forum (UBBF 2025), held in Paris, France, from October 13 to 15, 2025.
Fifth China – Arab BDS Cooperation Forum, 24-25 September 2025, China
Within the framework of Arab–Chinese cooperation to enhance partnerships and exchange expertise, the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO) and the Chinese authority responsible for the BeiDou satellite navigation system co-organized the 5th Arab–Chinese Forum on Satellite Navigation (BeiDou) on 24–25 September 2025 in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, under the auspices of the League of Arab States and the Arab–Chinese Forum.
First Edition of the Regional High-Level Roundtable on: “Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability: From Innovation to Impact”, Cairo- 16 September 2025
The First Regional High-Level Roundtable on Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability was convened on 16 September 2025 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, under the theme “From Innovation to Impact.” The event was jointly organized by the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) and the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Department of Sustainable Development and International Cooperation), within the framework of the follow-up and implementation of the Roadmap towards “Sustainable Digital Transformation 2025–2030” and the Organization’s Strategic Vision 2030, “Building a Smart, Secure, and Sustainable Arab Digital Future.”
