Tunis has been designated as the Arab Digital Capital for the year 2026, pursuant to Resolution No. [822 – Regular Session 29] issued by the Council of Arab Ministers of Telecommunications and Information on 22 January 2026, during its session held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt. The Council officially announced “Tunis as the Arab Digital Capital for 2026.”

Mohamed Ben Amor—and HealthCare Innovation (HCI) in Monastir—represented by its Director General, Dr. Mohamed Haroun Wanes—signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 16, 2026, in Tunis.
