The Arab ICT Organization, represented by its Director General, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, and the National Center for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence – Arab American University in the State of Palestine, represented by its President Dr. Bara Asfour, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening regional cooperation in the fields of smart digital transformation, and the exchange of expertise and knowledge in information and communication technologies and artificial intelligence.

The Arab ICT Organization (AICTO) convened the 28th session of its Executive Council on 1–2 June 2025 in Tunis, Republic of Tunisia.

As part of efforts to strengthen joint Arab cooperation in the fields of Cybersecurity and Technological Transformation Security, the Arab ICT Organization, in partnership with Mercury Communications, is organizing the fourth edition of the International Conference on Information Security and Cybersecurity (CAISEC’25). The conference will be held on May 25–26, 2025, at the Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski Hotel in Cairo, under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

As part of efforts to strengthen joint cooperation in the field of communication and information technologies, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on May 22, 2025, between the Arab ICT Organization and the Iraqi Ministry of Communications at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.

Within the framework of its action plan for the year 2025, the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO) organized the Regional Summit for IPv6 and Future Networks on 10–11 May 2025 in Cairo, Egypt.
The event was held in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the International “IPv6 Forum”, the Arab Council for IPv6, and several international partners.

As part of efforts to strengthen joint Arab cooperation, the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO) signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding on May 8, 2025, at the ACSAD Center in Damascus, Syria. The agreement was signed by His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Ben Omar, Director General of AICTO, His Excellency Dr. Feras Bakour, President of the Arab Telecommunications and Internet Union, and His Excellency Dr. Nasr Eddin Obaid, Director General of ACSAD.

His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), participated in the First Regional Conference titled “Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship: Two Engines for a New Generation of Development,” held on May 6–7, 2025, in Damascus, Syria.
