H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director-General of the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), paid a visit on Monday, September 1, 2025, to H.E. Mr. Zayed bin Saeed Al Kumait Al Khayarin, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Tunisia.

The meeting took place within the framework of the ongoing preparations for the AI-Forward Summit 2025, organized by AICTO under the patronage of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, with the supervision of the Ministry of Communication Technologies of the Republic of Tunisia, and in cooperation with AICTO’s regional and international partners. The Summit will be held in Tunis, from November 30 to December 3, 2025.

The visit was an opportunity to discuss ways of further enhancing cooperation between AICTO and the State of Qatar. H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor expressed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by the State of Qatar to the Organization and highlighted its main orientations and upcoming activities for the remainder of the year.

For his part, H.E. Ambassador H.E. Mr. Zayed bin Saeed Al Kumait Al Khayarin reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening and expanding cooperation with AICTO.

H.E. the Director-General also commended the State of Qatar’s remarkable achievements in the field of technology and its leadership at both the regional and international levels. In turn, H.E. the Ambassador expressed his aspiration for more fruitful and constructive cooperation between the two sides, aimed at supporting digital transformation and fostering technological innovation across the Arab region.
