AI-Forward Summit 2026, Yasmine Hammamet, Republic of Tunisia – 7–10 September 2026

The second edition of the AI-Forward Summit 2026 concluded today, September 10, 2026, in Yasmine Hammamet, Republic of Tunisia, following two days of high-level strategic deliberations preceded by two days of specialized parallel workshops held from September 7 to 8. Convened under the theme “Shaping the Intelligence Future: From Vision to Value,” the summit was organized by the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) in close collaboration with Tunisia’s Ministry of Communication Technologies, and took place in the presence of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. The gathering brought together more than 450 leaders, policymakers, international experts, researchers, and entrepreneurs from across the Arab region, Africa, and around the world, establishing an executive platform dedicated to moving past high-level roadmaps and accelerating the execution of measurable, high-impact artificial intelligence initiatives.

AICTO Holds an Information Session on the “CancerZero AI & Digital Health Worldwide Summit – Tunisia 2026”

The Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), in cooperation with its partners, today held an information session at the International Diplomatic Academy of Tunis to present the upcoming “CancerZero AI & Digital Health Worldwide Summit – Tunisia 2026”, to be held from 4 to 6 December 2026 in Tunisia, under the High Patronage of H.E. Mr. Kaïs Saïed, President of the Republic of Tunisia.

President of Libya’s General Authority for Communications and Informatics Receives Director General of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization

H.E. Eng. Abdulbasit Salim Al-Baour, President of Libya’s General Authority for Communications and Informatics, received on Tuesday, 12 August 2026, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), and the accompanying delegation. The meeting was held as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Arab cooperation and advance regional partnerships in the fields of telecommunications, information and communication technologies, and digital transformation.

The National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI) of the Republic of the Congo Joins the Arab-African E-Certification and Digital Trust Services Network (AAECA-Net)

On 26 June 2026, at the headquarters of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) in Tunis, the National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI) of the Republic of the Congo signed the Charter of Accession to the AAECA-Net (Arab-African E-Certification / E-Trust Network), AICTO’s flagship initiative dedicated to strengthening digital trust between the Arab and African regions.

The Arab ICT Organization Concludes the Meetings of its Executive Council and General Assembly in the Republic of Tunisia

Tunis, 17 June 2026 — The Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) concluded the proceedings of the 29th session of its Executive Council and the 22nd session of its General Assembly, held on 16 and 17 June 2026 in the Republic of Tunisia, the host country of the Organization. The meetings resulted in the approval of AICTO’s Action Plan and Budget for the period 2027–2028, as well as the adoption of a number of strategic decisions and initiatives aimed at advancing Arab digital transformation and strengthening the region’s position in the global digital landscape.

Cairo – The fifth edition of the International Exhibition and Conference on Information Security and Cybersecurity CAISEC’26 concluded on June 9, 2026. The event was organized by the Arab ICT Organization (AICTO) in cooperation with Mercury Communications, on June 8-9, 2026, at the Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski – Cairo, under the patronage of the Egyptian Prime Minister.
