Within the framework of its endeavors to bolster cooperation and joint Arab action and in order to develop bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest and to adapt the ICT sector for the benefit of the postal sector in the Arab region, the Arab ICT Organization signed on Monday, March 04, 2024, a memorandum of understanding with Libya Post Company, at the headquarters of the Arab ICT Organization in the Republic of Tunisia.
The signing of this agreement was supervised by the Director General of the Arab ICT Organization, H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Libya Post, H.E. Dr. Sami Al-Ghaziwi.
H.E. Eng. Ben Amor, expressed AICTO’s unwavering commitment to supporting joint Arab endeavors, emphasizing its readiness to leverage all available resources to serve the collective interests of the Arab region, with a particular focus on the postal sector. He underscored the significance of the memorandum, highlighting its potential to enhance the skills and capabilities of postal personnel in Libya and across the Arab world. By embracing modern digital technologies, this partnership is poised to unlock new opportunities and propel the development of the postal sector regionally.
