The Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Department of Sustainable Development and International Cooperation), is organizing the first session of the Regional High-Level Roundtable on “Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability: From Innovation to Impact”, to be held on 15–16 September 2025 in Cairo.
This roundtable is convened within the framework of the follow-up and implementation of the Roadmap towards “Sustainable Digital Transformation 2025–2030”, as well as AICTO’s Strategic Vision 2030: “Building a Smart, Secure, and Sustainable Arab Digital Future”.
Serving as a high-level dialogue platform, the event aims to strengthen effective partnerships among stakeholders across the Arab region and explore ways to leverage technology—particularly artificial intelligence—in a responsible and impactful manner to foster sustainability. It will also provide a unique opportunity to exchange insights and experiences, and to advance regional cooperation towards a sustainable and prosperous Arab digital future.
The roundtable program will feature three main sessions:
- Session One: Technology for Sustainability – From Vision to Implementation
- Session Two: Justice and Digital Governance – Towards Responsible and Ethical Artificial Intelligence
- Session Three: Building Sustainable Regional Partnerships – From Cooperation to Impact
