Sudan assistance to set up a national e-certification structure

The “e-certification & Cyber-security” WG met on 6 February 2014 to discuss the possible cooperation with both the “European Union” and the ‘Union for the Mediterranean” in matter of e-signature to foster the e-transactions in the south Mediterranean countries.

The meeting dealt also with the elaboration of a “guidebook” for the setting up of e-certification structures in Arab countries covering organizational and technical aspects.

Besides, AICTO Council, in its 12th meeting held in Tunis on 28 January 2014, welcomed the proposal to assist the Republic of Sudan in setting up a national e-certification structure.
