WG1  is working,  within the scope of the General Arab Strategy for ICTs – building the Information Society until 2012, on developing and achieving pilot projects related to “preparing the general environment end encouraging investment ..” and the WSIS follow up namely in matter of measuring the
IS on the national, regional and international levels throughout the UN member states.

The working group is composed  of representatives from Member States (Public sector), and Sector Members (Private sector).
