Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar will host the third International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies and Development (ICTD) 17 April - 18 April, 2009. ICTD is the premiere conference addressing innovate technologies for developing economies, bringing together academic researchers and practitioners to address the latest computing technology solutions.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates will deliver the keynote address at the conference. ictQATAR Secretary General Dr. Hessa Al-Jaber will serve as an honorary chairperson for the conference.
