When presenting the AICTO Action Plan, Mr. Ben Amor outlined the new services offered by the Organization, namely consulting.
The participants welcomed this initiative valorizing AICTO role as an Arab regional organization to act as the interface between all relevant parties namely in matter of promoting cooperation between the Arab and African countries, identifying the Arab expertise through its channels/networks (website, partners from the regional and international organizations dealing with ICT, …..).
On this occasion, the participants submitted a number of recommendations, namely the necessity to be involved at the initial step of formulating AICTO action plan and jointly select the topics, coordinate efforts to reach the common objectives by developing strategic projects including problem-solving, and the need to consolidate the role of the civil society to encourage Arab youth and answer their expectations.
